Israel's Mirrored History
by Guy Cramer
For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. This phrase is normally applied to physics, you will see here that a broader spectrum can also be applied.
If God is all knowing, seeing the future and passing that information onto the prophets who wrote parts of the Bible, then why is there no mention of the recent Holocaust in which millions of Jews were systematically exterminated? I recalled a recent A&E program in which a Jewish Rabbi stated that a group of Jewish Rabbis while being held in Auschwitz under the Nazi's agreed that there could be no God, if there was a God, He would not allow His people to suffer like this.
There was no warning of this event in the Bible and no help given to the plight of the Jews at the time, or was there!
I wrote a paper a few years ago on the subject of fulfilled Old Testament prophecies in modern times, with the rebirth of Israel on 14 May 1948 A.D., and the recapture of Jerusalem on 7 June 1967 AD. This paper and links to background information can be found here: #X3 Stephen Hawking's Universe Implodes this paper showed the mathematical calculations were given in the Bible pinpointing these not only these events but also the precise times that these event took place. According to his assistant, Stephen Hawking read the paper and was going to respond, however, no response was sent. No one has yet explained these events where we can remove God from the scenario.
While looking at these two prophecies that both use the same time frame: 907,200 days to fulfillment, I happened onto another interesting combination of events that also utilize the same time frame. First, while studying the Israeli Air Force history through Jane's, I came across some additional modern events that qualified as prophetic book ends. Jane's is considered a non-biased source of information on military information and history from around the world. If you want evidence that there is some higher power behind the success of the modern Israeli military, take a quick look at the IDF (Israeli Defense Forces) history. Outnumber, surrounded, outgunned, Israel when attacked by the surrounding countries whose intention was to wipe out the small country of Jews, usually discover by the end of the conflicts that Israel was in possession of more land then they started with, had air superiority with less advanced aircraft, won armored battles, at times with 1/10th the armor they were up against, had a kill ratio in the air force that is unprecedented around the world... Before the first day of the six day war in 1967 the IAF (Israeli Air Force) had destroyed over 400 planes from the Egyptian, Jordanian, Syrian and Iraqi Air Forces. In 1982 the IAF destroyed 100 Syrian planes without a single loss...
As I was studying this information and some of the sources that Jane's used, I notices that between Independence in 1948 and the Six day war in 1967 there was only one point in between mentioned; the Sinai Campaign. In 1956 The Sinai Campaign marked the final transformation of the IDF into a professional army capable of large-scale operations. Using the same calculation from #X3, going back in the Bible approximately 907,200 days earlier, almost to the day, we discover that in 598/597 BC, King Jehoiachin of Judah is in power for only three month before being captured by King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. At this same time Jehoiachin's army of 7,000 is also taken to Babylon. Israel has few fighting men to defend Jerusalem.
Notice that in paper #X3 that what Israel lost, they gained back in modern times. In the case of the Sinai Campaign, in the words of the IDF, "marked the final transformation of the IDF into a professional army capable of large-scale operations." 907,200 days earlier they lost their defense force.
Seeing that these events might be prophetically related I began to look at other modern events that had a bearing on the Jewish people using the same time scale. When searching for events and dates it is important that I try not to bias the information, links are placed for you to see that these times have not been manipulated to work out.
What led to the United Nations to allow Independence of Israel? The Holocaust was the main catalyst as can be seen in the: The Declaration of the Establishment of the State of Israel from the Israeli government, in which three paragraphs are devoted to the events of World War 2 and the suffering of the Jews. Without the Holocaust, would Independence be accepted by the United Nations? It certainly accelerated the issue. Let's take a closer look at the events that led up to Independence in 1948.
When did God declare the punishment of the Jewish People: The loss of independence takes place in 606/605 BC when King Jehoiakim loses the independence of Judah to Babylon, but this was not when God made His decision to punish His people, it was much earlier then this. It starts with King Manasseh decades earlier, Manasseh is considered to be the worst ruler in Judah's history.
King Manasseh reigned for 55 years, he brought in forms of idolatry, including the occult and witchcraft. He killed off the prophets, erected idols in God's temple, sacrificed his own son's... Manasseh was taken prisoner by the Assyrians and repented with God. Manasseh was released and went back to Jerusalem a changed man and changed the ways of the people, but even though there was change, the damage had already been done. God would not allow these abominations to go unpunished. God made his final decision some time before Manasseh was captured by the Assyrians and repented.
2 Kings 21:10-16 (NKJV)
21:10 | And the Lord spoke by His servants the prophets, saying, |
21:11 | "Because Manasseh king of Judah has done these abominations (he has acted more wickedly than all the Amorites who were before him, and has also made Judah sin with his idols), |
21:12 | therefore thus says the Lord God of Israel: 'Behold, I am bringing such calamity upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whoever hears of it, both his ears will tingle. |
21:13 | And I will stretch over Jerusalem the measuring line of Samaria and the plummet of the house of Ahab; I will wipe Jerusalem as one wipes a dish, wiping it and turning it upside down. |
21:14 | So I will forsake the remnant of My inheritance and deliver them into the hand of their enemies; and they shall become victims of plunder to all their enemies, |
21:15 | because they have done evil in My sight, and have provoked Me to anger since the day their fathers came out of Egypt, even to this day.' " |
21:16 | Moreover Manasseh shed very much innocent blood, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another, besides his sin by which he made Judah sin, in doing evil in the sight of the Lord. |
After the 55 year reign of Manasseh his son Amon reigned for 2 years but he also followed in his fathers original evil path and was eventually killed by his servants.
The people then made Amon's 8 year old son Josiah, king. King Josiah reigned for 31 years and was considered the best king that Judah had ever produced. He carried out the most extensive religious reforms Judah had ever seen. In his Eighteenth year (2 Kings 22:3 & 2 Chronicles 34:8) the King was having the temple restored when the high priest discover the Book of the Law (Law of Moses) and the king began to immediately implement the law in Judah and into the decimated regions of Israel in the North.
Even though one would think that this great reign and change in the people would convince God not to carry out his promised punishment we read the following just prior to the death of Josiah:
2 Kings 23:26-27 (NKJV)
23:26 | Nevertheless the Lord did not turn from the fierceness of His great wrath, with which His anger was aroused against Judah, because of all the provocations with which Manasseh had provoked Him. |
23:27 | And the Lord said, "I will also remove Judah from My sight, as I have removed Israel, and will cast off this city Jerusalem which I have chosen, and the house of which I said, 'My name shall be there.' " |
In his end Josiah makes a political mistake and marched against Egypt. The prophet Jeremiah warns against this campaign. Josiah dies in battle and the Egyptians install a puppet king with Josiah's third son Jehoahaz, who lasts only three months before Egypt replaces him with Jehoiakim, another of Judah's worst kings. Babylon defeats Egypt and Jehoiakim shifts allegiance to Babylon.
Three years later in 606 BC Jehoiakim loses Judah's independence to Babylon.
Here is where this gets very interesting:
God makes his decision to punish his people for there part under the rule of King Manasseh. We do not have any date given in the Bible for when God's decision was made, we only know it was prior to Manasseh's capture and return.
The terms "Holocaust" and "Adolf Hitler" go hand in hand. On his final day prior to committing suicide, Hitler writes his will and his Political Testament. Hitler, in his political testament, states that it all began in 1914. In 1914 Hitler volunteered for German military service for World War One, he became a highly decorated soldier, and began his military career that would lead to World War 2. Approximately 907,200 days prior to this important date of 1914 given by Hitler, in 640/639 BC King Josiah, the best king of Judah comes to power.
Eighteen years after King Josiah comes to power, in 621/620, he is presented with the Book of the Law, Josiah has all Jews follow it. Approximately 907,200 days later on Jan. 30,1933, Adolf Hitler is appointed Chancellor of Germany a nation with a Jewish population of 566,000. The beginning of the Holocaust. Only a few months later in March, four concentration camps are opened in Germany, two days after that, Hitler is given dictatorial powers by the German Parliament.
In 609/608 BC things get worse for the Jews in Judah, King Josiah dies and Egypt sets up puppet King Jehoahaz. Approximately 907,200 days later on Jan. 27, 1945 Auschwitz is Liberated, 1.5 million Jews died at Auschwitz
In 609/608 BC King Jehoahaz taken away in Chains to Egypt 3 months after He came to power, King Jehoiakim, another of Judah's worst rulers, is placed in power. Approximately 907,200 days later on April 30, 1945, 3 months after Auschwitz is liberated, Hitler commits suicide.
In 606/605 BC Jehoiakim loses the independence of Judah to Babylon. Approximately 907,200 days later on 1948 Israel declares and regains Independence
In Nov/Dec 598 BC Jehoiakim is captured by Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon and replaced with Jehoiachin. Approximately 907,200 days later on July 26, 1956 Egypt takes control of the Suez canal and blocks Israeli shipping, leading to the Sinai Campaign.
In 598/597 BC Jehoiachin in power for only three month and ten days is captured by Nebuchadnezzar and the his army of 7,000 is also taken to Babylon. Israel has few fighting men to defend Jerusalem. Approximately 907,200 days later on November 5, 1956 three months and 9 days after the conflict begins Israel controls the whole Sinai which marked the final transformation of the IDF (Israeli Defense Force) into a professional army capable of large-scale operations
587/586 BC Jerusalem completely falls to the Babylonians, Nebuchadnezzar takes away most of the population to Babylon, has the temple burnt and the walls of the city torn down so Jerusalem could not be defended. Approximately 907,200 days later on June 7, 1967 Israel captures Jerusalem in the Six Day war.
There appears to be a parallel or mirror image of history for the Jewish people, only in this century have we seen the outcome of that punishment. For every action: those events which brought about the punishment, there is an equal an opposite reaction: modern events that mirrored those that lead to the punishment brought about an Independent Israel and the recapture of Jerusalem.

The times given in the Bible are the only times I used for durations of those events. The modern dates given for events that show a reverse parallel have been obtained from the original sources, such as the Jane's, IDF history, Israel's declaration of Independence, Hitler's Political Testament and those Historical dates that are widely known.
The people and rule of Judah turned things around, but God did not change His mind for punishment. The Holocaust, possibly the worst time in the history of the Jews, still did not deter the timeline for those events promised. The Holocaust was the catalyst that has led to modern day Israel and Jerusalem. It accelerated these events that just happen to fall on dates that although do not stand out in the text of the Bible are still able to be calculated from the text.
Ironic, that Hitler's plans to wipe out the Jews, war, horror and mayhem he created help bring about the State of Israel at the given appointed time.
Going back to one of the later Prophets of the Old Testament, Zechariah we find a large portion devoted to The deliverance of Judah.
Zechariah 12:7 (NKJV)
12:7 | "The Lord will save the tents of Judah first, so that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem shall not become greater than that of Judah. |
The country will be reestablished before Jerusalem. Israel was formed in 1948, Jerusalem was recaptured in 1967 - 19 years later.
Other information in Zechariah 12 may explain why the Israeli Air Force is considered by Jane's as "arguably the finest air force in the world."
12:2 | "Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem. |
12:3 | And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it. |
Finally in Zechariah we read that after Jerusalem is again under Israel's rule they will mourn for God who they pierced.
12:9 | It shall be in that day that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. |
12:10 | "And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn. |
12:11 | In that day there shall be a great mourning in Jerusalem, like the mourning at Hadad Rimmon in the plain of Megiddo. |
This event is yet to come. From a Christian perspective it is believed that it is Jesus and His crucifixion that is being referred to in 12:10. Remember that Zechariah was completed about 480 years before Jesus was born. There is further evidence in Zechariah 12 as to who is being referred to in 12:10. I have explained this in an earlier paper #X100.
In 12:10 God speaks through Zechariah "they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn." God refers that His people have pierced "Me" and then goes on to say that the people "will mourn for Him..." If God exists in 10 or more dimensions as physicists have determined existed just prior to the Big Bang, than these comments make some sense. From one perspective Jesus and God are one being, from another they are separate.
As these historical events have been accurately fulfilled in our modern era, will Israel eventually look at these events and recognize that Jesus is God. Seems like an impossibility but so did Israeli Independence, Jerusalem's recapture, Israel's survival against the countries that oppose, surround and outnumber them. These events culminate with this recognition and mourning.
The best is yet to come.
